Product Details
A true "jewel box" of Kobe Beef.
Shinichi Tatsumi, fourth-generation owner of Kobe Beef Tatsuya — in business for over 110 years — has poured 30 years of dedication and expertise into this Yakiniku Kaiseki (BBQ Course), presented in an elegant multi-tiered box. Perfect for entertaining special guests.
From the pinnacle of Japanese wagyu — Kobe Beef — our master butchers hand-select four rare cuts ideal for Yakiniku. This is truly a jewel box of Kobe Beef. Each cut is arranged in a premium vessel inspired by the traditional Shokado bento style, wrapped in furoshiki cloth, and delivered in a gift box.
The cuts are beautifully arranged by type, so you can serve them straight from the box to the table. Enjoy the luxury of tasting and comparing each one.
The Four Cuts of Yakiniku Kaiseki

"The King of Steak" — Loin Core Steak, diced, approx. 200g
Awarded the honorary title of "Sir," the Sirloin is the flagship cut of Kobe Beef. We select only the most prized "core" of the sirloin and cut it into luxurious cubes. Savor the deep, powerful flavor.
"The Queen of Steak" — Fillet (Tenderloin) Steak, diced, approx. 200g
The Fillet is the rarest cut of all — only about 3% of an already rare Kobe Beef carcass. Lean and clean yet incredibly tender, this cut is loved by all ages. Enjoy the elegant, refined flavor that has earned it the title "Queen of Steak."
"The Otoro of BBQ" — Tri-Tip (Short Plate), approx. 200g
They say the flavor of wagyu is defined by its fat. Kobe Beef fat has such a low melting point that it practically melts at room temperature. The Tri-Tip, loaded with premium fat, is a masterpiece that melts the moment it touches your tongue. Despite the rich flavor, the high quality of Kobe Beef fat means it sits easy on the stomach.
"Rich and Complex" — Ichibo (Rump Cap), approx. 200g
Only about 2 kg can be harvested from a 500 kg animal — making this the cut professional chefs covet most. Though part of the lean round, it features fine marbling throughout, offering a satisfying texture and a sweet, complex depth of flavor.
The finest beef deserves the simplest seasoning — start with salt and pepper.
We include natural sea salt, black pepper, and our original Onion Ponzu Sauce made specially for meat. For your very first bite, try just salt and pepper. Let the natural sweetness of the beef shine through.
After that, add a touch of wasabi or dip into the Onion Ponzu Sauce.
