Typical shabu-shabu is sliced thin because tougher meat needs quick cooking. Our shabu-shabu is sliced as thick as our sukiyaki meat — something only exceptionally tender beef allows. The extra thickness means more flavor in every bite.
To close the meal, try udon or rice porridge simmered in the Kobe Beef broth. We also recommend "yaki-shabu" — quickly searing the slices on a hot plate or griddle.
